Fantastic spot just outside Ballyshannon. Very clean, welcoming and accommodating for our family. Each detail was covered and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. If coming back to the area, we’ll be booking here.

Absolutely beautiful home, nestled in the beautiful countryside, not too far from Ballyshannon and Bundoran. Una was a lovely host, checkin was easy, the house had everything you would ever need, everything was immaculate & we very much appreciated the welcome basket. Theres a little play area for the kids & lots of room for them to run about, area for adults to chill while kids can play.. Bedrooms, bathrooms, everything was top notch. Games, umbrellas and everything you could need on a rainy day also. Beautiful home, beautiful stay & we cant wait to return

The Bell House was the perfect location for us. The whole place was spotlessly clean and so well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Una and Robert were amazing hosts making us feel so welcome. The location was great for exploring the local beaches and towns – there is so much to do in the area. We hope to be back again soon!

When we booked The Bell House we knew it was going to be beautiful after seeing the photos. The reality was even better. Could not of wished for a more beautiful place. Everything was exceptional and anything you could possibly need was catered for. The welcoming treats were fabulous. Una and Robert were amazing hosts. I will be recommending. The Bell House to everyone I meet and look forward to returning.

Una and Robert are excellent hosts and could do no more to make our stay more pleasant. Their cosy accommodation is a little gem in the tranquil countryside side and just a ten minute drive from Bundoran. We will definitely be back.

When we first saw photos of this online, we hoped it would provide a unique Irish experience, but it exceeded every expectation. This beautifully renovated bell house is exactly what makes Airbnb special: a one-of-a-kind stay you could never get from a hotel, while still being incredibly comfortable and luxurious.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed—we even found ourselves looking up the décor for inspiration in our own home! Una and Robert were exceptionally kind, and the thoughtful touches, from snacks to beer and wine, made us feel truly welcome.
The location was perfect: close to town and an ideal base for exploring Donegal.

Since returning home, alongside photos of Irelands stunning scenery, we keep showing people pictures of this Airbnb. My family unanimously agrees it was our favorite place we have ever stayed.

We had a fantastic stay at the Bell House. It is a lovely, spacious and fully equipped cottage on a beautiful estate with very friendly owners. The area is also beautiful. We would definitely come back here

Reluctant to leave a review as I want this cottage to myself. I would happily spend the rest of my life here. 2nd visit this year. The host Brian has really made this place so beautiful. And probably should offer thanks to Eddie Moore, the gardener for Glebe House, I am sure he had a hand in this garden too. It’s just so stunning. And very still. There’s something mystical about this area. My husband and daughters felt it too. The lake at the bottom of the garden is perfect. Brian had the rowboat sitting ready for us on Gartan Lough, and 2 kayaks, we used these every day. Thankfully we had perfect weather for both of our visits. The interior of the house is so cosy and comfortable, and extremely clean. It’s a great area to explore Glenveagh, Errigal and Muckish, and Dunlewy. The bus service is great, the bus driver Peter, legend. But aye, perfect place to be. Definitely go for the tour at Glebe House, Derek Hill was a very interesting man, not sure if he stayed at this cottage after he handed Glebe House to the Irish state, but I feel that he might have. His presence is everywhere. What a spot. I would give anything to have my own wee patch of land here. It’s the land of the faeries.
