Plenty of space for families and groups of friends
Good place to stay. Remote enough and yet not far from anywhere. Very comfortable, very easy to find with Sue’s is a directions. Plenty of space for families and groups of friends. The views are fabulous and it was pleasant sitting outside in sunshine with great views of Swilly. I hope to get back one day. Many thanks Sue.
Ideal for a relaxing break away
Very nice house in a remote location ideal for a relaxing break away. Board games and loads of dvds to chose from, close to everything you need, would really recommend
Great base for touring around
Clondallon House is absolutely beautiful set in lovely gardens in very peaceful location with great views at the back over Lough Swilly to Inishowen. Great base for touring around. We are a family of 6 ranging from 24 to 64 and enjoyed every minute, lots of activities in the area to suit all ages. A week is not long enough so we will be back to visit again. Susan, the host, is very helpful providing clear directions and instructions on how to find the property and check in.
Photos don’t do the house and gardens justice
We are a family of 5 and had a fab time in Susan’s house, it had everything we needed and photos don’t do the house and gardens justice! we had a car and done lots of driving around, really good location wise!
The house was very clean and comfortable
We had a great time at Sue’s house. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great collection of DVDs, games (indoor and outdoor). Kids loved playing on the big red ball swing and we loved playing games in the large lawn area and saying hello to the horses in the field next to the house in the morning. There is a great view to the rear of the house, and we had a clear night to catch the meteors as there was a meteor shower during our time there. The location is great, right between Rathmullan and Ballymastocker Strand – the drive to Ballymastocker strand has some incredible views. All in all, a great place to stay.
Super view of Lough Swilly
A lovely house with a great enclosed garden – particularly good for young grandson and our two dogs. Lovely lawn area to play croquet. Super view of Lough Swilly – would definitely recommend staying here
