Named after the original owners of the land, Coll Cottage is a charming detached coastal retreat with mountain views that has been lovingly designed with our guests in mind. The cottage is a 10-minute walk to the stunning Ballymastocker Beach, the Stores Bar, Portsalon Pier and the award-winning Portsalon Golf Course. Local attractions include Fanad Lighthouse and the Great Pollet Sea Arch which are a short drive away.

The small village of Portsalon is a popular tourist destination for families – and for golfers. It is situated on the beautiful Fanad Peninsula. The natural landscape of this peninsula provides the basis for many of the activities that the visitor can enjoy. In addition to an abundance of golden sandy beaches, there are many water-based activities in the area – including windsurfing, surfing, sea angling and boat charters. Hillwalking is an increasingly popular activity.

Hi, I’m Fiona, and together with my husband Eugene, we bought Coll Cottage in June 2023. Our family have been coming to Donegal for almost 40 years, and it’s been a dream for us to have a house here for almost as long.
