We stayed at Fiona’s cottage with two families, and it was the perfect spot — right beside the beach and ideal for kids aged 6–13. The beach is just a 1 km walk away, perfect for a peaceful morning stroll. The beautiful kitchen made cooking dinners a pleasure, and we spent our evenings relaxing together in the cosy snug with drinks. We’ll definitely be back next year — thank you, Fiona!

A lovely, well presented house in a beautiful location. The kitchen/living area is perfect for big family get togethers. Everything is provided in terms of kitchen utensils/equipment, bed linen and towels.
Fiona was proactive with messages and check in was stress free. I would highly recommend this property for any family get together or holiday – ideally with sunny weather!

House was well equipped and excellent for a large family. Would love the back garden to have a paved area to offer some easy outdoor living .. stoned garden was the only disappointing bit to the whole house but would definitely recommend for future bookings

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Portsalon. The house is beautiful and so well equipped, especially for young families. The beach is within walking distance. Fiona was a great host. The perfect restful family retreat. We would love to come back again in the future.

Fiona and Eugene were fantastic hosts. They provided detailed directions and local information so we had no trouble finding the cottage and settling in. The cottage is modern, bright and spacious and had everything needed for our stay. There were lots of practical and personal touches which made the cottage very special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it as a perfect base for exploring the area.

A wonderful place to rest your head and spend time with family and friends. For our stay there were 6 adults, 1 children and 2 infants. There is a good deal of space in the house that it never felt too busy in the daily hustle and bustle. Great value. Wonderful kitchen and dinning area. There were child friendly cups, dishes and cutlery, which was very much appreciated. The living room is very comfortable. Beds and bathrooms are all as described and are top notch. Space out the front for up to four cars.
Check-in/out was super easy as keys were in a lock box.

I cannot sum up in words how pleased we all were with Coll Cottage. There were five of us, all ladies and we were there for the weekend. For us, the place that we stay is extremely important as we like being in the house and spending time together. This home was so perfect. Modern, comfortable, stylish. The beds were lovely, the linen was beautiful. The kitchen was a dream to work in and to sit together over a meal.
We loved the artwork, the decor, the rugs….perfect. so pleased. Thank you both for the use of this lovely house. If i could just make 2 small suggestions…..
1 A mirror of some kind in the back bedroom would be really useful.
2 The coffee machine was difficult….we even went online to see if we could get better instructions. No matter what we did the coffee was undrinkable… We went out and bought ground coffee and used the cafetiere.
These are very small things…overall we loved the place.

Lovely property – just as described. Very clean, spacious, well equipped and homely. 10 minutes walk to beach. On a main road but it wasn’t busy or noisy. Responsive and helpful host.
