Davey John’s Forge Cottage
Affectionately called Davey John’s Forge Cottage the cottage has been in my family for 5 generations. Modernised but retaining all the charm of its forge history the house sits at the foot of a hill directly opposite the beautiful Mulroy bay. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery that Co. Donegal has to offer.
The cottage has lots of quirky features. The lounge is extremely cosy with a wood-burning stove and sheepskin-adorned leather sofas. For the movie buff we have a huge pull-down cinema screen with HD projector (one of my favourite ways to spend an evening) and access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus and 100’s of TV stations.
The kitchen was recently modernised. New appliances, underfloor heating, Belfast sink and of course the inbuilt wine cellar 🙂
The recently installed Hot Tub in the garden was an instant hit. Perfect for all the family the tub is always on and serviced regularly meaning it will be waiting for you to enjoy the moment you arrive.
