The Green Door
The Green Door is no more than a 5-minute walk into Downings village and has wonderful views of the sea and Muckish mountain. The house is ideally placed for golfers and for families as it is spacious and sleeps 10. This is a well-loved family holiday home so is not available for hen and stag parties. Smoking is only allowed outside the property.
A beautiful house
We stayed here (6 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child) for my Dad’s 70th birthday. Lovely, clean, comfortable family home with everything you could possibly need. A fantastic position in Downings close to everywhere with a wonderful view. Celia was so helpful from the time of booking right up until after we arrived home. Really couldn’t recommend this holiday home enough. Hopefully we will be back again same time next year!! Thanks Celia😀
The holiday home is close to the heart of Downings village and is conveniently placed for golf, fishing ( sea angling and freshwater), hill walks, horse riding and water sports. There are a number of magnificent beaches in the immediate vicinity - including the fabulous Tramore Strand. The nearby Rosapenna Golf Links boasts two renowned 18-hole championship courses. A further 2 km brings you to the picturesque village of Carrigart where you will find an equestrian centre and the Mevagh Dive Centre - Donegal's first purpose-built dive centre.
