Kitty’s Cottage

Doochary : 3 bed/sleep 6 - pets welcome

Kittys Cottage is a renovated traditional Irish cottage set in a picture-postcard setting just outside the small village of  Doochary in Co Donegal. The cottage lies just southwest of the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and the Derryveagh Mountain range provides a spectacular backdrop to the holiday home. The  Gweebarra – a renowned fishing river – flows through rugged terrain just 200 meters behind the cottage.

The cottage has been built on the site of an old Irish farm cottage with the exterior kept very close to the original design. The traditional half door leads you into a bright modern cottage that provides comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. The main living area has a high ceiling which gives a wonderful sense of space to the area. There are 3 bedrooms – 2 doubles and a bedroom with bunk beds. The stylish kitchen and dining area enjoys wonderful views towards the Derryveagh Mountains.
