Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely open fire
We have recently returned from a week in the beautiful Knockalla Cottage, Kerrykeel. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely open fire which had been prepared by the owners of the cottage to ensure a warm and welcoming arrival, I thought this was a lovely personal touch after a long journey. This cottage is ideally situated just a short walk from the village of Kerrykeel which has pubs, shops and restaurants. Located at the foot of Knockalla mountain and short drive to various spectacular beaches the views from the cottage are truely beautiful. The cottage itself is very clean and spacious with 4 large bedrooms. My sister and her children joined us for a few nights and the cottage slept all 10 of us very comfortably. The kitchen was well equipped which was very convenient as we chose to eat in some evenings. The children loved the large garden area to the front of the house. Thanks to the good weather we were lucky enough to get to spend several evenings eating at the picnic bench over looking the garden and surrounded by the beautiful views. The owners of the cottage were welcoming from the minute we arrived and I have already recommended this cottage to friends and family. This was our first time in Kerrykeel and we are already looking forward to our return!
The cottage has been specifically designed to enhance your holiday experience and the views of the surrounding countryside through the cottage windows are exceptional.
