Ballybofey is also home to Balor Arts Centre and the famous McElhinney’s Department Store. Ballybofey has a leisure centre and a golf club and the beautiful Drumboe Woods for leisurely walks. The town is a great central location for exploring north and south Donegal. Donegal Town and Letterkenny are less than half an hour’s drive and Ardara, Killybegs, Dunfanaghy and Buncrana all less than an hour’s drive.
