From the front door of the holiday home it is just a short walk down to Portsalons harbour with its sandy cove. A few hundred metres brings you to Portsalon Golf Club – a superb 18-hole links course. Just below the golf club is the start of the expansive Blue Flag Porsalon beach which stretches all the way to the foot of Knockalla Mountain. The beach is regularly rated as one of the best beaches in Ireland.
