Otway Beach

Another chance to appreciate this lovely cottage, with its spectacular views. Linda & Eamon are the perfect hosts. The addition of the dishwasher was most welcome as the children didn’t have to wash by hand after each meal. There was no complaining. Thank you for a lovely break.

This is such a beautiful place, the scenery and the peacefulness are wonderful. The cottage is so nice to live in, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a lovely holiday so peaceful and quiet. Thank you so much Linda for a lovely clean house, spotless towels, tea towels. Unforgettable in this little haven of peace.

We have had here a fantastic stay. Your cottage is nice and well equipped. The views are brilliant and the atmosphere relaxed. So what more do you want? The first week with splendid weather and great family-reunion of 20, between Holland and Ireland. We leave you now but hope to see you again.

Otway Cottage was the ideal location for us, we enjoyed the golf (tricky little course), the dog and I enjoyed walking on the beach and through the woods. The views from the cottage are stunning and the weather was great to add to the lovely four days we had here. The cottage itself was lovely, everything we needed was provided. Thank you. We hope to come back next year again.

One week into our stay – DON’T WANT TO LEAVE. This place is just heaven and the house is perfect. We have not felt so relaxed since our first visit here in July. We tried horse riding yesterday – a real laugh. The four spoiled pooches are very, very happy. Thank you Linda and the Gallagher clan.

We have had a fantastic week, the scenery is to die for – the secluded beach has been brilliant for our dogs and we all feel very rested and chilled out. The cottage has been very well equipped, plenty of room for us all. We could not of asked for a better location with idyllic views. Sad to go home but worth traveling from Kent.

We’ve had a great holiday, we’ve really enjoyed the beautiful cottage and beach 2 minutes away. It’s lovely and peaceful and good to eat breakfast overlooking the sea. The cottage is very clean and has lots of space – better than we hoped for. Lots of good things to see, for example Glenveagh National Park, Fanad Lighthouse and Horn Head Cliffs. The people are very friendly and always willing to help. We hope to come back again soon.

I had a great time, it must have been fun because the time passed so quickly, been here before and its just as good this time. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to go and play golf at the golf course. Views were fabulous and stunning at Fort Dunree. Thank you Linda for a tremendous and remarkable holiday at Otway Cottage.Sad to leave.

Thanks for a fantastic holiday in a very special place. The cottage is excellent the best we have stayed in in Ireland. We have all enjoyed the location and the boys have particularly enjoyed big wave beach (Ballymastocker and Portsalon). I have taken hundreds of photographs and as you know have done several paintings and drawings, I hope to do more when we get back to England so I will keep in touch.

I had a brilliant time here, I loved the beach. Every day we would go down and build dams in the stream. Loved the house and the garden, thanks a lot Linda for this cottage. Sad to leave it, hope to come back again.

We enjoyed the holiday very much. The house was very nice, the view was fantastic, the weather was nice and warm, the beach was the dogs favourite place to go every morning and night.

We arrived at 11.00pm to find the beautiful cottage fully equipped and inviting as we settled down for the night. In the morning we saw the beautiful views for the first time and have enjoyed 3 glorious days exploring the Fanad and Inishowen Peninsulas as well as the magical beach below. Hope to come back again. We have had a very relaxing two weeks even the mixed weather did not take from this wonderful place. Fantastic house and location and we will find it difficult to leave those fabulous sea views. Eoghan could not believe the golf course was so close. We will definitely be back.
