The town is well provided for, with four pubs, two top class restaurants, coffee shop and a newly opened café. The 3km of beach stretches from the pier in Rathmullan to Kinnegar cove. It is popular with walkers and water sport enthusiasts and unusually for an Irish beach, is tree-lined for most of its length.
