The Rockhouse
A quiet and peaceful location to relax and unwind by a warm fire and no TV – the traditional cottage is set in generous landscaped grounds including a small wood and stream. An ideal base from which to explore the Wild Atlantic Way and all the scenery of The Rosses and Donegal.There are several beaches a few minutes drive away and numerous walks around the surrounding area. The nearest town Dungloe (An Clochan Liath) is a quick 6km drive with bars, restaurants and shops.

The cottage is traditionally stone-built and heated by an air-source heat pump as well as the wood-burning fire (logs are included). In addition, there is a heat-recovery system to vent the air around all the rooms to maintain guests comfort. No TV but there is WIFI throughout, as well as board games for all ages. Visitors and pets are free to explore the grounds around the cottage.
A car is advisable to get around but there are local paths and roads which can be navigated on foot – the locals are also very friendly!!! Free and ample parking on-site for 2 cars
