Slievebawn
This warm and bright cottage is an original fisherman’s cottage that has been lovingly restored. It is one of about 10 original fisherman’s cottages in the little clachan (hamlet) of Slievebawn and nestles above the beaches of Sandport and the pier at Portmore, Malin Head.
The living space features an open fireplace, a fitted kitchen, and a dining area. A spacious master bedroom boasts a sliding door with views of lawn and surrounding countryside. The second bedroom comprises twin single beds. Between the two bedrooms, facing the entrance is a neat and clean shower room. The cottage has high vaulted ceilings throughout, providing an airy feeling and the solid pine floor boards ensure warmth and brightness.
