The Old Cottage
The cottage is a throwback to a bygone time when life was much slower and quieter. Although all the modern amenities are available the cottage remains a place where nothing has changed. Many old original walls have been stripped back exposing them as they would have been well over one hundred years ago. It’s a place to sit back and unwind or a base to come back to after exploring all the magic of Donegal.

Bunbeg itself is a small fishing village with a quaint harbour, set in the heart of the Gweedore Gaeltacht. Both Bunbeg and the neighbouring Derrybeg village are so close they could be mistaken for one another. The Irish Language has survived in this area – along with much of the traditional Irish Culture that has now been lost to many other areas of the County.
