The nearby fishing village of Glengad has a long association with the sea. It looks out over the Atlantic Ocean with views of Inishtrahull and Rathlin Islands and further out to sea to the western islands of Scotland. From The Cove its a five minute walk to the local shop and a fifteen-minute walk to a pub with barfood and takeaway.
