Ideal place to calm down, lovely cottage, nicely equipped and clean. The host family lives next door and is very nice and helpful. Easy communication. I really liked the view from the cottage, it is a good place to explore the region. If I am back in this region, I would like to come back to this cottage.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Hosts are just next door but they do not bother you unless you need something.just a tiny suggestion, I would happily pay a bit more for a little welcome basket… maybe a couple of tea bags etc, and the use of netflix. Really loved our stay. Highly recommended

Great location close to Muckish, Errigal and Glenveagh National Park. Just a short drive to Fanad Head Lighthouse. Lovely, spacious and well-equipped cottage. Great storage in the bedroom and plenty of space in the bathroom. Owners are next door if you need any help. One of the highlights for us was their beautiful dog, Simba – well-behaved and very loving.

Great location. In a farming area with great outlook and so quiet! Located slightly out of town, which added to the appeal. Presented very well, kept in top condition with all you need easily on hand. Location was easy to get around from and gave easy access to some beautiful countryside.

Spotlessly clean and very cosy. Comfortable bed and lovely views. Owners really respected our privacy even though they were only next door. Lovely friendly dog.

The Cosy Cottage was an ideal base to tour the Wild Atlantic way on my Motorcycle. I was warmly greeted by the host and was very impressed with the property and location. The property itself was modern and well equipped and they have thought of everything, so was like home away from home. Had secure parking in a gated area and secure storage in coded garage. The location was stunning with excellent views. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be booking again for next tour.

Superb location close to mountains and superb beaches. Short drive to restaurant and pub. House is completely spotless, so comfy, great wood burner. Hosts on site, really friendly and responsive. Just wish my stay was longer

The cottage was fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need for a lovely trip to Donegal. The wind was blowing outside but I was toasty inside! The location of the cottage is also great – I was able to explore beaches around Dunfanaghey and Downings and climb Muckish.

Immaculately kept little cottage, super cosy and warm on what was otherwise a cold and wet Autumn. Effortless check-in. Well equipped, all amenities and facilities worked well. Excellent value.

Loved it – beautiful place so picturesque, hosts were brilliant, property was amazing and so good for value. The cottage was so beautiful, all modern cons, had everything we needed, cooking, TV, Wi-Fi, stove perfect for a quiet getaway and 10 minutes drive to the coast, and complete privacy, loved our stay and we will definitely be going back
