This property has traditional flagstone floors throughout, a stone-built fireplace with a Stanley range whilst having the modern convenience of air-to-water underfloor heating. Open plan living area consists of comfortable seating around the fire and an old-style kitchen with all the mod cons.

The outside area has an elevated hot tub with views of the lake. It also boasts a patio with seating and a BBQ area.

We stayed in Deerview Cottage for 2 nights at Easter. 2 adults and 4 kids aged 11, 9, 5 & 4. 1st impressions I was wondering where on earth we were goin n den some beautiful green gates appeared an the youngest says “mammy lookit the wee white house” It is remote private and secure, with amazing attention to detail, yet all the modern day amenities you will need, including WiFi,underfloor heating and a hottub. It has a typical cottage layout room up and room down. There is 3 double beds. The kids slept in the room an we in the upper room . Although it is a quiet rural location you are still only 7 min drive to the nearest town Killybegs. We had a lovely fish an chips supper in marina cafe. The highlight of our trip was on sat morning there were four deer in the garden outside. Can’t wait to return..

A beautifully restored cottage, the perfect place to retreat to relax and unwind. The cottage has everything you could need and is cosy, warm and comfortable. It’s decorated tastefully and makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. With beautiful views and miles of walking options from the cottage we didn’t want to leave. An ideal location to explore Donegal from. We will be back!
