We had an incredible stay at this house in Donegal! The location was perfect, providing easy access to beautiful local attractions and breathtaking scenery. The house itself was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A major plus for us was how dog-friendly the property is. The nearby beaches and town are just a 5-minute walk from the property, which was extremely convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing, dog-friendly getaway in Donegal. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful time at Cathy’s home in Dunfanaghy. We had everything we needed and lots of space for the four of us plus two dogs and a toddler! The house was very clean and we loved how light and spacious it was. There’s also a little nature trail to explore and a sandpit so the toddler was never bored. The kitchen and living room are well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The dogs had plenty of space to run around outside and we recommend taking a walk down to Tramore beach which is a beautiful big and quiet beach and very close to the house. We would definitely recommend staying at Cathy’s home.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is absolutely stunning and was immaculate upon arrival. The hosts were super friendly and informative and were so sweet to have left some local craft beer, wine and chocolate which were much appreciated. We had our toddler with us and they were so accommodating with arranging cot sheets etc. the garden was so much fun for our toddler to explore with all the little pathways and little steams with the added bonus of a pheasant visiting us each day. So much to do in the area with beautiful beaches and Ards forest park near by. It was a perfect base to stay and explore the area & we would definitely love to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Cathy’s home. It is a beautifully appointed house with absolutely everything you could need for your stay. The beds are so comfortable with beautiful linens and pillows. The kitchen is very well equipped and a great bonus is all oils herbs and spices available should you wish to cook in, together with lots of teas, coffee etc. The garden is a fabulous area, (an ongoing work-in-progress) with little walkways and streams and lots of planting. It even has a bug hotel nestled in a wooded area at the back of the house. – overall, a wonderland for kids (and adults!!!).
The house is within walking distance of the village of Dunfanaghy, a super village with lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs, and of course so much to see in the surrounding areas.
Cathy is a great communicator and was available to us when we had any queries, even though she was away on holiday.
We couldn’t recommend Cathy as a host, or her beautiful home, more highly.

Absolutely brilliant – house is amazing, area relaxing and tranquil, hosts could not have done enough for us and fully understood what we wanted from our stay with a young baby.

We had a fantastic week in this beautiful modern home in a stunning location. Cathy and Seamus were so welcoming with great tips and advice. The house is really well serviced with fresh towels, bathroom and kitchen essentials including lots of cups, plates and cutlery with plentiful hot water and Cathy’s invitation to use her condiments was much appreciated. The welcome book was very helpful and gave us tips that the usual holiday homes don’t give. We followed up on the boat trip with Seas the Bay and had a great experience. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the views over Dunfanaghy and Killahoey beach from the patio.

We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful property. The property is stunning and is equipped with everything you would need. The location of the property is fantastic and perfectly situated to access lots of activities for our family. The hosts were excellent and kept in contact during our stay.

Just THE most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. We were blown away by the house and also the beauty surrounding it. So close to everything, we didn’t want to leave. Thank you for the best holiday
