Carly’s Cottage is a great holiday rental. It’s super comfortable, with four en suite rooms plus a small single and an additional bathroom, too. The cooking/eating/living space is open-plan and spacious. There’s a pleasant outside area with a table and barbecue – although we didn’t eat outside because the evenings were a bit midgey. Although there aren’t sea views from inside the house, if you stand at the front of the house you can see the sea about a quarter of a mile away, and it’s easy to walk down to a lovely rocky coastline and stony beach nearby. The cottage is in a village with a petrol station and PO nearby. Best of all, Teac Jack’s is a little hotel just 2 mins away – with good food, a pleasant bar, and very friendly staff. We had a nice meal there on Friday night. Lots of other families eat there, too. The cottage is well situated for exploring Donegal. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
