We are just home from staying here and the headline says it all. Perfect location for a quiet break, somewhere to have a beach on your door, rockpools for kids to explore and climb and somewhere to watch the amazing Donegal sunset. The house itself is finished to an exceptional standard, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fitted kitchen and the comfiest sofa ever. ONE word of caution. The upstairs two beds are in the apex of the roof so it’s suited only for kids or people under 5ft!! That said, the kids loved that it was a hideaway on their holiday which we all loved so it’s a backhanded benefit. Tiled floors throughout make it easy to brush up the fine sand accumulated daily, just make sure you wash your feet and shows before entering the house as thats the decent thing to do! A small outside tap would be handy, and I didnt actively look for one so it may be there. 2 x deckchairs and a windcheater provided and a small hanging frame for washing. All in all, everything is thought of but deliveroo! Lol. Oh, and Internet was reasonably good for Donegal as well.
