This delightful property is nestled in the valley of the Rosguill Hills, beside Dooey Beach – famous for its potential to view the Aurora Borealis. The Atlantic Drive is a popular route for driving, walking, and cycling. This is an ideal location for families and groups alike. Roughly 5km from the popular village of Downings, and roughly 5km to the famous Singing Pub. Downings is home to Rosapenna Golf Resort, has a leisure centre and kids soft play, as well as many beautiful beaches and hikes/walks.

Myself and my wife have been here a couple of times and it is by far the best place to stay in Donegal it has everything you need. We both would recommend location and cottage itself is best finished cottage inside and out we have ever seen. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay just perfect. Would recommend it to anyone and it’s very cost effective.
Peace and relaxation
We stayed here for 3 nights in Aug, absolutely stunning wee cottage, super modern clean and tidy. It literally is lands end. The kids spent the days in the water, enjoying the gorgeous tiny beach that feels like it’s all yours. Really is heaven on earth this place. We will definitely be back, Tracey was wonderful. What a gem of an accommodation to find 😍 It is just gorgeous and the views looking out across the Atlantic Ocean just on the doorstep. Tracy was just fantastic at welcoming us and ensuring that everything was okay for our stay . I can’t recommend this accommodation enough,it’s just outstanding. We have since been back twice since our first trip and will continue to make regular trips. It’s ideal for walking,beautiful beaches and restaurants within a short distance
The holiday home is 5km from Downings village and is conveniently placed for golf, fishing ( sea angling and freshwater), hill walks, horse riding and water sports. There are several magnificent beaches in the immediate vicinity - including the fabulous Tramore Strand. The nearby Rosapenna Golf Links boasts two renowned 18-hole championship courses. A further 3 km brings you to the picturesque village of Carrigart where you will find an equestrian centre and the Mevagh Dive Centre - Donegal's first purpose-built dive centre.
